Trump Lost! Move On!

I hate to tell you guys this, but Trump lost. He lost the election. There is no “stolen election”, or “democrats out to get you”, or “witch hunts’. I actually would find those things more interesting. Nope, Trump has been shoveling this B.S. down the throats of not just his cult members, but to the American public in general and frankly, I am so sick of it.

I live in an urban dwelling a.k.a. a black neighborhood. I did not have to deal with trump in my community. In fact, I feel like I may be just one of the handfuls of people that actually vote here, but that’s a topic for another day. However, once I make my way out to the suburban areas, you can see the difference. I regularly pass by homes with gigantic flags that say, “Trump Won”. Like, what? This is 2022, we are quickly approaching the mid-terms, and these mofos are waving a 2 year old flag that says the current president, is not the president. Its not mind boggling, because I am well aware of the stupidity that runs rampant in this country. Its very much frustrating, because I am well aware of the stupidity in this country.

Think of how stupid the average person is, and then realize that half of them are stupider than that.

-George Carlin

I mean honestly, why is there all of a sudden a concern about the sanctity of an election. Just because some so-called “billionaire” told you it was stolen? Literally every other election was cool, but nope not this one. That makes no sense. There are republicans with absolutely nothing to gain and have fallen further down this rabbit hole now, than when trump was still in office, keeping this nonsense going.

There are also republicans who won’t go out and tell this lie and claim that he won. I don’t know why exactly, but I still don’t give them any credit, because for four years they let him run off lie after lie and never corrected him. As a matter of fact, no one in his life has ever held him accountable. We have women who have come forward and explained how this man sexually assaulted them and he still roams as free as bird in this country. There were two impeachments, two, and neither led to a conviction. What kind of world is this?

Richard Nixon IS a crook!

Nixon lied, was impeached and stepped down before charges were brought against him. I can at least respect him for that. Other republicans joined together with democrats to make all of this happen. They were actually country over party. They knew getting Nixon out and holding him accountable was the best option for the time. This happened before my time into politics. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a time when the supreme court talked a sitting President into doing something. Donald Trump literally went by Richard Nixons playbook. He was impeached for obstruction of justice, abuse of presidential powers, and hindrance of the impeachment process. Sounds like history repeating itself to me. The phone calls Trump made after the election was called should have put him in prison alone. The only difference between trump and Nixon: Nixon actually had republicans to hold him accountable and he finally listened.

He did have sexual relations with that woman.

We all know the line. The outcome is just as serious. Bill Clinton was impeached on December 19, 1998 for two reasons. He lied under oath to a federal grand jury and obstructing justice. Bill Clinton had an affair with Monica Lewinsky during his term as president. The problem here is she was an intern and they eventually sent her to work at the pentagon. He also lied. One of trumps favorite things to do. Even though both parties were part of this impeachment, the result to prosecute him were not even. Still, there were hardly any republicans in the senate that wanted to remove trump from office, let alone impeach him. Bill Clinton got to finish his term after the senate couldn’t get two-thirds vote for either article of impeachment.

There is still a difference between Clinton being impeached and Trump being impeached. There was still some members of the same party who thought Clinton should be impeached. There was not really this divided line that we see today between the democrats and republicans.

The point is, people saw trump for what he really was once he got in office. I mean, I don’t know how you didn’t see it sooner, but people are slow learners. Trump lost this election because he lies, he is a sexual predator, he belittles, he cares only about himself, he’s arrogant, has no credibility, self-centered, and not a billionaire. The last one isn’t important, but you get the point. No one needed to “steal” the election. Trump gave it away being himself. Republicans are following in his foot steps too. Many of the republicans he endorses are already low in the polls, but ask Hillary about polls.
