Tired hospital worker, tired doctor, drained

Happy New Year… I Guess.

Thoughts about 2021 and what 2022 has in store (Probably Omicron)

Well, we made it through another year, or some of us did, at least.

Up To Date Coronavirus Info

We have had around 850,000 people die from this virus. It came out today, that more people have died this year then last year according to John Hopkins data.

I get the fact that this will never truly go away. I hope that it can be helped with a shot once a year, like the flu. As of right now, I don’t see an end. Of course, I’m not an epidemiologist by any means, but we are heading into year 2 of this and we are still having the same problems.

People have completely thrown out their masks, it seems. Meanwhile, I still wear 2 when I have to go to the grocery store. The vaccine has been out a year and while it is effective, the vaccinated can still get covid. It should a minor case and you are still less likely to go to the hospital or die, but still. Vaccinated people can also still spread it, but their ability to spread it doesn’t last as long as an unvaccinated person.

Data from John Hopkins

I’ve stated before that I am immunocompromised and so is my mother and father, but we have to live life too. This isn’t about being scared. Its about humanity, which is already asking too much of humans. I feel like we are in an endless loop and this will continue through the next year. Then people will bitch and moan about people not working, or how the times of businesses had to change or how businesses are closing. Why do you think that is happening? The states won’t do more shutdowns, because money is always the most important, but where do we go from here?

Michigan had a 5 day Covid total of 32,957 cases last week. The numbers may start to drop, but not because the virus isn’t around, its because we are running out of tests. This is dumb. This is what people mean when they say humans suck. Not only is there a vaccine that can curb this virus, not only are there masks to curb this virus, there are signs and symptoms, and common sense which people don’t seem to have anymore, that can curb this virus. Why are around people knowing you’re sick? Covid can be asymptomatic sometimes, but I don’t even care if its covid. Here’s the deal, if you are sick, STAY AWAY FROM PEOPLE AND STAY HOME!!!

This isn’t rocket science. This is being a decent human being. Even the shit stain that was in office a couple of years ago got the vaccine. He tells his base he’s vaxxed and got the booster, what are these idiots doing, booing. The point is, It may not be covid, it may be sinus infection or a cold, but don’t walk around like nothing is wrong. God, I hate people…

The New Year is upon us and yet nothing has changed in 2 years. I don’t know where we go from here. I am tired of writing about Covid, I’m tired of hearing about it and I’ve been past the point of others thinking it doesn’t exist just because it doesn’t affect you or you don’t like being told what to do.

My goal for 2022 is to try to stay the course, try to stay healthy, and wonder why so many people physically want to get sick from a still relatively new virus. And don’t get me started on the new variant. Omicron. I could start on it, but what’s the point. You can look at the hospitals and tell that humans (Americans in particular) don’t care about anyone but themselves.

But hey, what do I know, I’m just a geek! Happy New Year! Have fun at your Covid parties!!!
